Defender Hidden Camera Finder & Wireless Bug Detector
LOCATE HIDDEN CAMERAS, AND LISTEN DEVICES
Dual search functionality at a fraction of the cost of other bug detectors. The defender RF detector offers not only the ability to locate nefarious wireless bugging transmitters but also can find spy cameras. This easy to operate tool quickly switches from a signal locator to a lens finder by inserting the removable camera identification adapter. The lens locator adapter utilizes a ring of flashing LED lights that refract off the hidden cameras lens.
When not inserted the defender bug detector covers a wide spectrum of searchable frequencies including, WiFi, GSM, and everything between 10MHz-8GHz. This is the mass majority of bugging equipment available on the market and displays the found signal as a constantly fluctuating intensity bar graph.
When the Defender detects a signal above nine bars of intensity a flashing red warning light is activated to alert you that a communicating device is near by. The adjustable sensitivity range is preformed by raising and lowering the built in antenna. With no dial to turn, or correlation to preform. Simply turn on and sweep.
Use the defender to detect potential threats in a home, at an office, in a board room, or even in a vehicle. This works for both classic and the mass majority of modern bugs, so even if the criminal is a do it yourselfer the defender will be able to keep you safe.
HOW TO FIND A WIFI HIDDEN CAMERA
The Defender Hidden Camera Finder & Wireless Bug Detector offers a single button activation. There is no dials to turn, no correlation to adjust, just turn on and go. This is perfect for newcomers, and experts alike.
Before a search for a hidden camera can begin it's important to consider the situation. Illicit eavesdropping devices can be activated and used in a variety of ways. Some are triggered upon motion, sound, heat changes, and can even be remotely activated, just to name a few. Think about the particular situation and preform the sweep during the hours that the most desirable data would occur for best results. The Defender hidden camera finder and RF detector offers two separate solution for identifying a hidden device. Depending on the environment should determine which way to search first.
Searching for a camera is the simplest of the two options. Insert the attachable lens detector into the Defender and turn the device on. The Defender will automatically switch over to camera finder mode and light up the red LED ring around the tinted viewfinder. These lights will begin to blink and using the blinking LED's search the room for a pinpoint reflection. It's best to preform this search with the lights dimly lit so that the reflection will be easier to spot.
Search the area, looking through the viewfinder, and stand in positions where potential cameras would be pointing and look for a light to blink back. If one is found take about 5 steps left or right and see if the light is still blinking from that object. If it is, it's not a lens and more then likely glass or plastic, but if it stops, investigate further.
To sweep with the Defender's signal detector, step out of the room, remove the detachable lens finder, extend the antenna to its fullest length and turn the device on. Once the device is active the fully extended antenna is capable of covering 20ft depending on the specific transmission type. The intensity bar graph should be displaying a naturally occurring fluctuation between o and 8 total lights. If the Defender is displaying a constant 10 lights shorten the antenna to eliminate background interference.
Probe each object in the environment and pay close attention to the alert indicator on the front of the Defender. If a signal is found shorten the antenna for a more isolated detection range. False positive are likely since the mass majority of places are filled with radio signals, phantom signals, as well as wire bundles and metal acting as an antenna extender.
Under both searches a physical inspection of a probed target is incredibly important to a successful search. If the lens finder, or the signal detector isolates on a location take a good look at the object and if something is found keep searching. It is quite common for multiple bugging devices to be present even in a small environment, these are called "foolish bugs" and meant to distract from more well concealed devices.
WHY CHOOSE THE DEFENDER OVER THE OTHER OTHER RF DETECTORS
Do you need to find a GPS tracker on a car? What about a listening device that is using cutting edge technology? Do you suspect that there could be a hidden camera somewhere? Do you want an all in one detector? Then the Defender hidden camera finder and wireless bug detector is the way to go.
The Defender detects radio frequencies with a range of 10MHz-8GHz. This included WiFi, GSM, and even GPS trackers, but attach the lens locator and it is fully capable of finding even the most covert hidden cameras. It doesn't matter if the camera is wired, wireless, turned on or off it has the ability to find it. This unit is self contained, easy to operate and offers the detection range of bigger more expensive devices with a bright red Alarm indicator to alert you when something has been picked up close by. So if you're looking for a cost effective solution for finding a transmitting device, the Defender will find it.
