Start by charging the internal battery with the included USB cable, or keep it plugged in for consistent power. From there, insert your micro SD card into the device. Next to the on and off switch, you have a "V" and "P" switch. The "V" is for continuous recording, and the "P" is for PIR motion-activated recording. Select the recording mode you'd like to utilize. Turn the unit on, which will begin recording based on the selected recording mode.

Plug the device into your computer or laptop with the supplied USB cable to review the recorded information. Feel free to remove the SD card from the camera and insert it directly into your computer to review! No special software is needed. Watch the recordings with any player software you have, like VLC media player or iTunes.

Setting the date and time is a breeze. When plugged into the computer, you should see a (time.txt) within the drive for this camera. Open up the time.txt file and change the date and time within that text document to the appropriate time. Save that file, and you're set to go!
