HOW DOES THIS PORTABLE GPS TRACKING DEVICE WORK?

Inside this weather-resistant device is a powerful Li-Polymer battery capable of 1-year standby. The weatherized design is IP67, meaning it's waterproof and dust-resistant and has an operational temperature range of -4°F up to 140°F capable of handling extremely harsh conditions.

The internal motion-activated 3-axis accelerometer activates when the tracker notices movement, and once the device stops moving, the device goes into standby mode to conserve battery life. When active, the tracker will switch between tracking via GPS satellites to utilizing GSM localization with the internal 4G LTE, depending on what is best suited for the particular spot. It can compile data internally if a live signal is lost so that data can be pushed once regained.

Log into the device using a website or the free downloadable application for the IOS or Android with a 12 month history as long as the device is active. Live updates are shown on the map with the ability to jump to a street view at the touch of a button. The geo-fence and no-go feature allows you to get alerts for up to 20 custom locations.

Multiple devices can be viewed and reviewed through one account, and all reports are exportable in HTML, XLS, PDF, or even CVS format for up to one year.
