To turn on the pen, you need to push the on/off button on the top of the pen.

RECORDING VIDEO

Recording video requires:

  1. Select motion or continuous using the quick switch. 
  2. Hold the top button for 2 seconds and the light will blink blue 2 times and go out indicating it has begun recording.

ENDING A RECORDING

When you want to stop recording all you need to do is press and hold the same button you used to start recording. It's really that simple.

You press and hold the on/off button for approximately two to three seconds and you'll see a blue light blink quickly and turn off after a few moments. This will let you know that you have chosen to stop recording. And the device will power off.

ACCESSING YOUR RECORDINGS

Once you've created your recordings you need a way that you can actually access them, right? Well, that's actually simple with a USB cable.

You can plug your device directly into your computer to access the files that you have stored. All you have to do is plug it directly into the device and then select the option to view your files. From there, you can choose to erase files, or view them.

You can also remove the SD card and plug it into your computer.

ERASING THE INTERNAL MEMORY

Erasing the memory is quite simple when you are connected to a computer. You can access the files and recordings you have created on your camera pen. Then you choose which ones you want to remove. You have to highlight them with your mouse and select 'delete' to get rid of them.

You can also move files while you're accessing them on a computer. This will let you save them more permanently than on your spy pen camera's memory.

Downloading files regularly to your computer is best as it fills up the memory of the device, and once full, it will be unable to make new recordings until the videos have been deleted.
